Just $1 can provide 6.25 pounds of
food to a hungry neighbor
Capital Region CANstruction Hunger Heroes Food and Fund Drive was developed in 2015 so that everyone can be part of the impact of the Capital Region CANstruction program! Since its inception, the capital region CANstruction program has invited talented architects, engineers, contractors, and students from all over the Capital Region to imagine and create colossal structures built completely out of canned food items.
The Capital Region CANstruction Hunger Heroes Food and Fund Drive is an annual competition which runs through February 25, 2017. The event invites teams of all sizes to collect food and funding to benefit The Food Pantries for the Capital District.
Registered teams will earn 1 point for every pound of food raised and 1 point for every dollar raised - teams can be individuals, companies, organizations, small groups, families, school districts, etc. The top three teams will be honored at the Capital Region CANstruction Awards event on March 8, 2017.
