Thank you to all of our generous Sponsors, Donors, Honorary Committee Members, Board of Directors, Volunteers, Member Food Pantries, Harvest Evening Committee Members, Chefs, Judges, Volunteers, Staff at Revolution Hall, Guests, The Food Pantries' Staff, and everyone who made last year's Annual Harvest Evening Celebration the best yet! The event raised nearly $62,000, which can provide approximately 387,500 pounds of food to help our neighbors in need!

Thank you to our Master of Ceremonies Joe Donahue of 
WAMC for helping us honor Siena College as our 2017 Outstanding Community Partner for their contributions to our "Filling the Gap" Food Pantry System and Community Needs Assessment, and Capital District Food Summit partnership. In addition, we had the privilege of posthumously honoring Geraldine "Dinnie" Shanley our 2017 Sister Mary Coons Award winner for her contributions to our food pantries and those they serve over the years.

"The Food Pantry Chef's Challenge"

Chefs created tastings incorporating food items commonly stocked at our pantries. This year's talented Capital District chefs include Chef Lou Agostinello of Athos Restaurant, Chef Jennifer Hewes of The Point won the Best Use of a Food Pantry Item Award, Chef Sainabou Jatta and Chef Carmen Santos of Whole Foods Market, Chef Kizzy Williams of Allie B's Cozy Kitchen won the Client Choice and the Simplest Recipe Award, Chef Melissa Sheridan of Brown's Brewing  Co., Chef Kyle Macpherson and Chef Joan Porambo of Field Notes won the Best Taste Award, and The Food Pantries' Member, Saratoga EOC Soup Kitchen
